So I sold my PS2 today because I never played it and purchased COD4 for the PlayStation 3 (it doesn't play ps2 games). So I go on the Multiplayer and it says "Loading game settings" for about 5-10 minutes.
I have the "Game of the year edition" so it includes the 4 multi player maps, but im not sure if that'ss what is causing the game settings to be so slow?
Now I have the same game for the Xbox 360, and it doesn't even take a second for this. The PlayStation 3 is hooked up to the router (which we also have a nice Linksys router and DSL) so its not our internet connection I would guarantee.
Any suggestions on how this "loading game settings" issue can be fixed?

ps3 sucks. sell it and get an xbox 360 with live
