I want to desperatly try to play a game like a max payne, but for the xbox 360. Any good third person shooters like that for the 360? I want to use modern weapons like shotgun, hand guns, etc.

What are the best shooting games? I want to play a great shooter regardless of first person, or third person. but not like war games like call of duty, or survival games like left 4 dead, or dead space.

a game i can think of off the top of my head is not a shooter as such but alot of the gameplay revolves around combat and the game is fallout 3. it has many futuristic weapons as well as modern day weapons and although it is an RPG and not a shooter there it combat near enough all the way through it and it also has a good story to it unlike games such as CoD etc. it can also be played both first and third person depending on what you prefer
