I'm getting an Xbox 360 for Christmas, so don't say get 1 because 2 will come out later. Which game do you really think is better?

Get 1 and then when 2 comes out get it also! These games are the ish! Plus the special edition of 2 comes with night vision binoculars.

There's no way to tell which is better if MW2 hasn't come out yet.
If you're getting one for Christmas you're best bet is to get Modern Warfare 2 as not many people will still be playing part 1 when 2 has come out.

You should get Modern Warfare 2. CoD4 was awesome, but MW2 will better haha

CoD4:MW was made by Infinity Ward who also is making MW2. So, in short, you fail. CoD:WaW (CoD5) was made by Activision not IW.

If you really want COD, I guess you should get Modern Warfare 2. Hopefully they have fixed the overpowered weapons and perks though. If they don't fix the balance issues, you be better off not getting the game.

well the graphics on 2 are much better but i cant really say much beyond that. there isn't much online about the game and the only gameplay doesn't have any multiplayer and very little fighting.

I am guessing that two will be better just because it is the second installment.

Well, no one can really say which one is better..No one has played MW2 yet! But from the reviews, Modern Warfare 2 seems awesome! And the prestige edition of the game comes with fully functional night vision gogles. But if your going to play the story, your probably won't understand it without playing the first one..i would say rent modern warfare 1 and play the story, then buy modern warfare 2. If not then just get MW2.
