Hello, Yesterday i purchased Company of heroes from steam store. The problem i have is that i dont have my own cd code. My brother had purchased this game before me and has been previously installed on this computer because my brother has logged on to his steam account and installed it and played on my computer. When i log onto my steam account and launch this game, the first thing you get asked to do is to make an account on the game. When you are making your account on the game you have to put your cd code in, BUT my brothers cd code is comming up in the box automaticly instead of mine.. Even though im logged on my steam account and not his.

The first thing i thought is that because i havnt redownloaded the game from my steam account that this downlod is registerd to my brother and will contain his cd code and not mine. So i Uninstalled the game and logged into my steam account and redownloaded the game from there.... When the download had finished 6 hours laiter, i still had the same problem.

Just like to add me and my brother dont account share he just used my computer before
Also i would like to make clear we have both purchased our own Downloads of the game

Make sure you haven't re-purchased the game on the same steam account. Try downloading it on another pc and getting the cdkey from there. If not, ask Valve Support.
