I'm considering getting Soul Calibur 4, Resident Evil 5, Left 4 Dead, and Tales of Vesperia. Are these all good choices?

well if you have xbox live i suggest getting call of duty or halo
if not the gears of war series has a simply amazing campaign that will get you hooked from the first time u pick up the controller

Assassins Creed, and now is a very good time to get it because AC2 is coming in Nov.
