Ok so my copy of gears 2 has some stuff on it, It looks like hairspray, that i have tried EVERYTHING to fix. So this evening i made progress on trying to fix it, and It would go up to the Loading screen (which is a plus because earlier it wouldnt even read it.) My question is, if I borrowed a friends Copy of gears of war 2 and installed it on my hard drive, would I be able to use my non working copy since it doesnt use the disc after its installed? I heard the only thing that it really needs is confirmation that it is in fact gears of war 2 or any other game in the hard drive.
