Aerosmith guitar doesnt work with guitar hero three..is it s

I have Guitar Hero Aerosmith eddition guitar and game and i just purchased guitar hero 3. The guitar doesnt seem to work with the guitar hero 3 game. Is there any way i can fix it? and is it supposed to work?

If you got an original copy of the aerosmith guitar, or an original copy of guitar hero 3, then no. Aerosmith came before Guitar Hero 3. And the controls inside the guitar are different from the guitar hero guitar. Think of the guitars like PC games. you can't play a game for Vista on an XP computer, but you can play an XP game on an Vista computer.
