ok, so i wanted to play rock band 2 on ps3 with 4 people with a guitar hero 4 controller, a mad catz controller, mic and drums that comes with rock band. but when i connected it all, the guitars were connected as two players, like in the guitar hero controller, the lights showed that it was player 1 and 2. and it didnt work. if i pressed green, nothing would happen. help me. to add, i never had problems wit these instruments or the ps3 b4.

did you try assigning the controllers?
you know you old or press the PS3 button on it and it comes up with controller settings.
then the little scroll thing with the numbers...

i know this is kind of a smartass answer but thats the first thing that popped in my head.

there are issues with guitar compatibility on the ps3 especially with 3rd party controllers. I have had very bad experience with mad catz dont trust them ever. you may need to get a legit rb2 controller. This is why i always recommend this game for the 360. i got a ps3 but i know what game is better suited for what system and this is one for the 360.
