Is there any way to "boost" the Nintendo WFC speed

Postby Voyage » Fri Aug 07, 2009 12:46 pm

I connected my Nintendo Wii to the internet, played Mario Kart online, and it didn't lag at all. But when I tried to play Brawl the time between pressing a button and having an action perform was slightly noticeable.

For a game like Brawl every ms in reaction time counts, so I was hoping to boost my connection somehow.

Unfortunately the Wii cannot connect using an Ethernet CAT-6 cable like my 360, and is as of now stuck with Wireless-G.

So... is there anything I can do to adjust my speed?
-Change any settings?
-Connect using non-conventional settings?

Thank you for your help.

Also, what is this whole "Friend Code" thing,
Is it like some more confusing type of a "Gamertag"?
How do I find out my friend code? (and what do I do with it...)

Brawl becomes slow and starts lagging depending how far away the people who u are playing online with are from your city or state like new york battling someone in tokyo on brawl may be slow. or it can also be how far away your wii is to your router. if i could u can move your wii to a tv that's closer to the router
