I'm selling my ds lite and my ds lite starter kit online, and I am going to use the money to buy the DSi and DSi starter kit. I know everything about the DSi, just wondering what is bad about it.(if there is anything bad..) Also, can you get into the DSi shop on your DSi, and download the free internet connection, and go online with it for free? And, can you update your DSi shop some how? Cause I am sure nintendo will put new things in the shop so you can buy the apps. Please tell me a little bit about that...10 points BEST ANSWER!

It lost GBA slot (you can't play Guitar Hero without it) and has less battery. It just plays AAC music. Online material and Dsi softwares (such as those that uses the camera) aren't region-free. You can just view photos taken by Dsi on it. You can download Opera for Dsi for free in Dsi by Dsi shop and use it for free in Dsi, obvious, and you'll win 1000 Dsi points in it. The screens will be 17% bigger, it will have audio and image editor. I took photos and both are VGA, there isn't 3 mega pixel camera, as some people says. Better RAM and CPU. Besides this, the Stylus is bigger and etc....

Anyways, unless you're selling your DS at full price, don't bother switching to DSi

Its camera is no better than a cell phone camera
Music needs to be an uncommon type of file to be played on it
The shop has nothing good
Lost its GBA slot
The internet is slow. plus why surf on it when you have your computer?

save yourself the money and buy another game or two.
