Sony and MICROSOFT Fail %?

Postby dg2020 » Thu Jul 30, 2009 9:03 am

For the next gen system's i am seeing of money going to getting them fixed, What would you guys think the fail % is for playstation 3 and xbox 360. It seems there making too much money fixing the systems. I rather think MICROSOFT has did a better job making the people feel safer about getting there systems fixed rather then sony gives you a used system that someone Else has had then been fixed rather then just fixing your system its self, MICROSOFT seems to give you a new system and 3 years added warranty

Two of your statements are false. Microsoft very rarely gives you back a brand new Xbox 360. 98% of the time, they are refurbished ones, destined to break again within weeks,

And I bought my PS3, and 4 of my friends all bought a PS3 within days of each other....a year and a half ago. None of us have ever had problems. Ever.

But LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE ONE of my friends who have owned Xbox 360s have had to have theirs fixed. Two of my friends have had to have theirs fixed multiple times.

Wow, no way can the numbers you made up ever be possible, sorry. A system that has more than a 25% failure rate, let alone almost 50, wouldn't be able to sell because the company wouldn't put it out. Here is some stuff I found. Bottom line, sony makes a better system, failure rate wise, xboxs are way worse with out a doubt. However, I do think microsoft fixes things better than sony

I just googled xbox 360 failure rate vs ps3 if you want to do the same
