Question about buying on ebay?

i was looking for a replacement ps2 on ebay (mine was recently destroyed, thanks to my awesome brother) and i saw a slightly used one with 2 controllers for only .99......and no bids. i was just curious, why are there no bids on something that cheap, and is it for real? or is there some kind of underlying fee i'm unaware of?

sometimes people dont like to place a bet real quick because they rather try and win it at the last sec it saves time and money, if u put a bid on it right now chances are some1 else is going to bid & the price will be going up little by little
but if u wait for the last sec youll have a chance to win it at that price instead of having a bidding battle for it and making the price go up
