My friend told me about a cheat for Shaun White Snowboarding, and it involved going into system settings-memory-going over the hard drive-device options-pushing XX Left Bumper Right Bumper XX

Then a pop up came up, saying something about maintenance, and I said yes, because it was "pertinent" to the cheat.

The rest involved doing stuff in the game, but now whenever I try and start a game (any game), it says "Update-blah blah blah" and then an update screen appears, updates then goes away.

Is this a result of the cheat? Or actual updates? And are there any ways to get rid of them?

theres ussually an update for a game every few weeks or sometimes more. you shouldent get them very often tho

its just wee tweaks to the game that there updateing

because publishers seem to think its ok to send out unfinished games for us to test then put out updates to fix it. very unfair for someone thats not online

There is no way to get rid of them and i do not get them very often so it is probly a result of the alleged cheat
