Im going to buy the game but im not sure when to install the expansion packs. When i played starcraft and warcraft 2 i only liked to play with the expansions because there were more units, but im not really sure if adding the expansion to fallout 3 will change the gameplay the first time around.

i added the 3 expansions right away and there is no difference in game play except that you can go to level 30.you can locate the expansions on the map and check them out at any time you feel like.i made a save before i checked out the pitt and decided to come back latter.hope this helps.good luck in the wastelands.
