Whats the difference between Boswer and King Koopa on ninten

And why on the old original super mario bros. was the pink princess called Daisy and now on the new Mario games she is called Peach and the brown haired with the yellow dress is called Daisy???

Bowser is King Koopa. The peach and daisy question thats pretty confusing (not the question but why they named them that way)

About the Peach and Daisy question, the characters change while they produce new games. Like when I got a game of mario Yoshi had a yellow shell now its green.=]
