WAR is an alright game, but admittedly I haven't played it in a while. Mythic handled the launch some-what poorly, unfortunately, by creating way too many servers. The last time I played, even the most populated servers were mostly empty. The fact that you can level up through RvR rather than just questing or grinding was great, and so was the user-interface, it just isn't fun to play an "MMORPG" without the "MM". That and leveling up in tier 3 was more like punishment than playing a game. The best classes I played were the Warrior Priest and it's destruction counter-part the Disciple of Khaine, though most classes are fun to play.
As for future MMOs, Champions Online looks like it'll be good, since I like the whole Super Hero/Comic book genre. And also Star Wars: The Old Republic, since it's being developed by Bioware, and all of their games have been amazing.
