Which should i get? PS3 or XBOX360?

Im a eight grader n i want to get a ps3 or xbox30 for graduation gift.Idk which to choose.I have a wii and i like it alot but I'm going to have to give it back to my cousin when he gets older (hes 4 lol). So i want to get xbox360 but its accessories r expensive so is the xbox live and the ps3 has free internet. friends tell me to get xbox360 but i dont want to get it. but idk if i should get ps3. answer this honestly dont say xbox360 just cuz u got one cuz i really dont care i just want to know what system to get

depends on what games you like Xbox has halo,gears,....sorry i'm not an xbox guy find one of them to give you full list lol
Ps3 has Mgs4, Killzone 2, infamous, cool feature with psp if you have one, PSone classics, rumors going around that ps2 compatibility will come to every ps3 through firmware update, (games coming out are GOW 3, MAG (massive action game (a 256 player shooter online game)) Heavy Rain (detective but cool ways to die in it so far lol) of course the free internet is nice because hey i'm answering this on my ps3 lol, now days multiplats are just as good as xbox ver. if not better in some areas (we get more detail so xbox gets antianilising (cool stuff just personal preferance)).
as you can see i have a ps3 but my brother has a xbox which he does not play that much because he bought it to play CoD with his friends but they got collage now.

Buy the Playstation 3 and listen to someone who owns both consoles. Tomorrow @ best buy you can get a PS3 with the 2 best games on the console for only $400 PS3 is more reliable and it barely breaks
Me and my friends all have 360s and the failure break rate is rediculous. if you own a 360 its almost guaranteed to break, You will go through too many problems with 360 and the ps3 has better games out now and on the way

PS3.
You can put all your music and photos on it (if that matters to you), and it can play blu-ray DVDs. Xbox can play HDDVDs, which are not being made anymore. I have a ps3, and all my friends have 360s. One thing I hate is when people with 360s say that ps3s have no games, because that is BS. The only games Xbox have that ps3 doesn't have are Gears of war 2 and Halo 3. PS3 has Uncharted (great game its like a movie, and a new one is coming out soon), Motorstorm: Pacific Rift (great for 4 players), Little Big Planet (highly rated, but i don't have it b/c its not my type of game), Killzone 2 (just as good as Halo or Gears in my opinion).
It also has tons of movies to buy or to rent on the playstation network, along with tons of other great content like full games, demos, trailers, and much more. You can also go on the REAL internet using your ps3 so you can watch videos on youtube or whatever. It is basically like my second computer.
So, you should definitely get one, and nothing is wrong with an Xbox 360 I just prefer the PS3 is that a crime?

Definitely xbox 360! The 360's online play only costs about $50 for 13 months. And when you look at the price differences between the consoles themselves it really balances out. And as far as accessories for the 360, the only thing you really need is a controller and a mic for online play. Other than that all you need is the games of your choice, so in all reality there is no price difference. I just prefer the 360 for online play and the simplicity of the controls. I hope this helps!
