Xbox360 spending spree :P?

Xbox360 spending spree :P?

Postby liuxing » Thu Jul 30, 2009 8:09 am

ive got around $250 to spend (maybe a lil more) on my xbox 360, i neglect it a bit since i only have a few games (halo3,fifa08,pgr3) with no xbox live..(i'll possibly be purchasing a new 37"+ full hd LCD).
My question is.. with the money i have to spend ($250-350), what would be the smartest way to spend it.. also would like to know what you would buy if you had a similar scenario.

Please no "save and buy a ps3 or wii ect" i already own both,(not to brag) and my xbox360 is just collecting dust :(

Thanks for everyone's answers,
Dilby :)

It depends on what kind of games you like. My boyfriend is a big gamer, and we have all of the systems too. He prefers his xbox. His fav games are Bioshock, Fallout3, he plays the Final Fantasy series also, he even really enjoyed the Ghostbusters games. But like I said, it's all in what you like.

Well, I would get xbox live if you didn't already. The 360's online service is superior to other consoles.

If you were going to get games, I would get games of different genres so you don't get bored.
Some good ones include;
BlazBlue - Fighting
Gears of War 2 - 3rd person shooter
Fallout 3 - American RPG
Burnout - Arcade Racer

And also, Xbox Live has great arcade titles, like Worms 2: Armageddon, Castle Crashers, Duke Nukem 3D, Doom, etc

Maybe you should try and find a way to get internet to your Xbox and purchase some Xbox Live. It is pretty reasonable for $40-50 bucks (depending on where you buy it from) you can get 13 months of online gaming. It really makes the gaming experience a whole lot better. And you should still have money left over for some other games. If you can wait, there are a bunch of games coming out this winter (Left 4 Dead 2, Modern Warfare 2, and some other stuff). Btw, Left 4 Dead is an awesome game for friends and Xbox Live.
