Hi, I am saving up for a XBOX 360 preowned console I have £53.00 so far and am trying to sell and get as much money as I can, since I am 14 and don't have a job and all the saturday job are taken I am earning cash by selling things I don't want or don't use. I'm going to sell my original XBOX console, it is black and comes with all the leads and one controller, it is in fully working order and in quite good condition with not many scratches , it has never broken and is about 3 maybe 4 years old. I might throw in four games that come in original case and instruction booklet, they are Scaler, Blinx the time sweeper, Frankie Dettori racing and Kao the kangaroo.

well i had an XBOX til last week, so i can give you a rough idea.
its not gonna be anywhere near how much you want for it, and in fact i gave mine away to a friend because I'd rather give it to someone i know than take what it was worth.
If you are lucky your local gamestation / game would trade it in against an xbox360, i took mine in and i would of got £12 whole pounds, but most game / gamestation shops dont accept them anymore. If you go on the cex website you can type in what games you have and they will give you a trade-in price, but that is only going to be a few pounds.
And you wont believe this but tif you trade in just your controller you could get £10 at cex on its own.
your best bet would be to try and sell it for between £30 and £50 on your local freeads site, or at a car boot sale, you'd be VERY VERY lucky to get that though. but if you dont try, you'l never know. If you know anyone with younger kids they might buy it off you for that.
you never said whether u had the playback kit(for DVD's) if u did then you would probably get more because someone might get it for their kids to watch DVD's as well as games,
Before you sell it though, have a quick look on ebay to see what people are paying at the moment.
If you sell it without the games, you'l get nothing for the games and if you sold just the games, then hardly anyone would buy an Xbox without games to play, your best to sell it as a package.
As far as the XBOX360 is concerned, i personally think its a great machine, anytime would be good to get one, howver i dont know if its going to go down in price anytime soon.
Also try talking your parents into getting one for the front room by saying it has DVD etc and say how stylish it is
