Ive been reading a book about alternate realities and in 1 thats set in 1971 200 years in the past america lost the war of independance because of something called fergusons and the brits 2 decades later aided the french royalty in the french revolution so that uprising also failed and by 1971 the british empire has been at war with a newly established holy roman empire for 32 years and all anyone has are balloon’s and other primitive stuff americans are still called colonials and conscripted.

Charles, colonists opposed the quebec act because of religious reasons, yes, but more so because it required all land acts to be negotiated in quebec, and thus hampered the real estate dealings of people like washington and jefferson.

well to be fair the vast majority of the american population at that time were country protestant farmersplus, quebec sucks hard in modern day it probably sucked even more back then

only USA. you can play as Britain in grand campaign though.
